Bedford Pumping Station

Bedford Pumping Station is perhaps not the most glamorous of constituency visits but it performs a number of vital functions for our area including reducing the risk of flooding.

I joined Wayne Lancaster on a tour of the facility and met with staff along the way who showed me the invaluable work that is carried out 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

It was a very informative visit and Wayne and his team were able to answer all my questions leaving me better informed about the vital service they provide.
